RACINE, WI, August 9, 2015 — Shakespeare Machine Stamping, a division of RC Incorporated, is a leading global supplier of high-precision, high-quality, off-the-shelf components used in the manufacturing of abrasive wheels. HISTORY OF SHAKESPEARE: Shakespeare Machine Stamping started in business as a one-man operation in 1967. Founded by Rocco Gilio, the owner and at the time, sole employee. He worked out of a rented single storefront with a Browne and Sharpe screw machine that he retrieved from a local junkyard and rebuilt. Rocco landed his first business when he retooled the rebuilt Screw Machine to produce a difficult part that had given a customer trouble for years. His dedication to meeting and exceeding customer's demands has given Shakespeare the ability to expand at a fast pace. Today, Shakespeare Machine manufactures and ships off-the-shelf components used in the manufacturing of the abrasive industry to country's such as the United States, Mexico, Columbia, Italy, France, Thailand and many more with our ever expanding customer base. In 1990 Bob Folk, an employee of Shakespeare for 22 years purchased the company from his father-in-law Rocco and continued the tradition of supplying parts from stock. Upon Bob's death in January of 1999, Ronald A. Haarsma, a long time family friend and trusted business associate, purchased the company. With the strong foundation in place, Ronald has continued dedicating himself to continuing the business philosophy begun more then 45 years ago. Presently, Shakespeare Machine is located in a modern facility that was built in 2001 creating over 76,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 50 employees. Consistent daily efforts have allowed Shakespeare Machine to continue to build its reputation as a fast, reliable service with high quality parts. With the latest technology applied in the manufacturing of our parts such as Zinc flanges as well as our metal stampings, Shakespeare has become the premiere Abrasive Industry Supplier.

Introducing Shakespeare’s New HB375 Semi-auto Hubbing Machine

RACINE, WI, May 1, 2015 — Shakespeare Machine Stamping, a division of RC Incorporated, is a leading global supplier of high-precision, high-quality, off-the-shelf components used in the manufacturing of abrasive wheels. Over the past few years it has become widely popular for abrasive manufacturers to sell their grinding wheels with a Zinc Flange bonded to them so that the end customer can easily setup the grinding wheel to the machines intended to run them. As known by many within the abrasive industry, Shakespeare Machine is a leading global supplier for the Zinc Die Casted Flanges that get bonded to millions of grinding wheels on an annual basis. This past year, Shakespeare Machine has launched two new machines that aid in the manufacturing process of bonding the grinding wheel to the Zinc Flanges. These machines are known as the HB300 Semi-auto Hubbing Machine and the HB150 Manual Hubbing Machine. Within a year of its introduction, the HB300 Semi-auto Hubbing Machine has been upgraded to increase hourly output of finished product. The HB300 had capabilities of up to 500 pieces an hour with just under an eight second cycle time. Although innovative and efficient, Shakespeare has been able to cut the cycle time in half, clocking in at 3.75 seconds per cycle. Although product, operator speed, and the working hour can vary the output, this gives customers the ability to produce up to 1000 pieces per hour! The replacement model for the HB300 Hubbing Machine is known as the HB375 Semi-auto Hubbing Machine and is available to order worldwide as of today. Each company plays a vital role in the company's 60 year history of creating innovative products/services such as precision metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication, adhesive tape, and abrasive components. With its headquarters based in Racine, WI, RC Incorporated's goal is to give back to the local community in more ways than one.
